2007 Season Recap

JOGA A STATES
Congratulations to the Arena’s JOGA Team! With only 4 competitors, they went up against 13 other much larger teams and still won the 6^th place trophy. Samantha Bobra had a good meet making all 4 routines. Seniors Carissa Macay, and Vicky Koppa, had a great finish to their careers. Vicky won 5^th on beam, 6^th on bars, and 10^th All Around. Carissa won 3^rd on floor, 4^th on bars, beam and All Around. Emily Wang also had a great meet. She won bars, 3^rd on floor, 4^th beam, 9^th vault, and 2^nd All Around.

JOGA B STATES
Congratulations....
Laura Carandang, 5th Place Beam & only .1 from placing in the AA
Patty Dziekonska, 1st Place on Floor & Vault; 7th on Bars, and 4th AA!*
*this was only Patty's 6th meet ever!

All-American Meet
The JOGA Team competed on Saturday, Feb 17th at All-American Gymnastics in Ocean, NJ.  In their third scheduled meet of the season (some of them in their first meet), the JOGA A team took second place, and also won the following:

• Kelly C - 2nd Bars

• Samantha B - 5th Vault

• Carissa M - 1st Beam & 6th Vault

• Vicky K - 5th AA, 6th Vault

The JOGA B Team also did well with Laura C taking 2nd All Around, 1st on Beam and 2nd on Bars.  Patty D won 4th All Arround and 2nd on Vault and Beam.
